Heather is a creative force to be reckoned with, a dynamic and energetic personality with a passion for her creative talents she exhibits a complex layering of color, texture, lightness, spontaneity, intensity and love in everything she does. There is a playfulness to her unforgiving nature, somewhat childlike, but always achieving sophistication and grace in her final product.
Heather has a great passion for art, gastronomy, travel, fashion and interiors. And she is well published and experienced in creating and directing projects across all of these fields. She holds a strong foundation in the understanding of the intricate balance between color, form and space. And with her expertise she applies the same visual concept to perfect a sense of natural and effortless beauty in all of her work. Her “can do” spirit opens all doors for her to imagine and then execute whatever artistic elements are required to make the most beautiful and inspiring image. Whether it be her hand drawn line, her bold markings of painted color, an incredibly beautiful table of food, enhancing a location in the middle of nowhere, creating the perfect background design for a celebrity portrait or putting together the room of your dreams, heather will bring it! It will be original and boldly unique. She simply will inspire.
Heather splits her time between Portland, Maine, NYC and Barcelona. She lives with her two daughters kodie, 16 and Zana, 6. She likes to ride her vintage Italian bike everywhere and adores pink peonies by the armful.
I love your paintings. Seriously... they're magical.

BRILLIANT!!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather. I just learned about you from Design Sponge and how neat you are in Missoula! What brought you there? I am an artist, mother of 2 girls ages 3 and almost 6 living in Bozeman. Originally from Massachusetts, but have been out West for 15 years, Bozeman for 8. I am looking at moving into a new studio space and would have room to bring in a couple of other artists' work to show. The space is in a renovated mill in the Northeast side of Bozeman, a cool mixed use area of homes and industrial. And a gorgeous little spot the studio is. I embroider on European and antqiue linen and do both custom wall pieces as well as pillows, all of which I sell at my friend's shop in Jackson Hole. This new studio space would allow me to have more of a store front which would be great. Anyway, would love to chat. My sister-in-law lives in Missoula so perhaps we could meet up sometime and talk about having some of your work in this new space. Thanks! Eliza elizaeddy@gmail.com
